I am searching for the parents of William Rodney Herrin, b. 1830 in SC or Habersham Co. GA. He married Milda Ann Lewallen in 1849 in GA; therefore, he was never named in his father's HH. I think he could have been the son of John Herrin(1809) and Betsy Harrison. My addy is helenward254@sbcglobal.net Please write me if you are involved with these names in your db.

Eric... Please forward your family history to me. We share the same line. Going ack to Hohn Herring of ISle of Wight is not correct by DNA. Your line, like mine, is Shadrack Herrin and Rebecca Stogsdill if they were from Rockcastle Co. penengr@comcast.net

I have a soft trace to John Herrin born in England in 1620(maybe Ireland). He came to Isle of Wright, Va and later the family came to
Rowan County, NC.
Then, to Rockcastle, Ky
Can anyone help in this trace?

Can anyone tell me the Census district for Owen Hull Herren's family in the 1870 Census of Hinds County Mississippi?

Hello from the Herren Family of Tallassee, Alabama. My g-g grandfather Daniel Herren of the Alabama 47th seems to be hiding his ancestry, so any help or info is greatly appreciated. If anyone is interested, we are currentlyrestoring "Herren Hill" the family plantation which has been in the ownership of the Herren Family since 1870, 15 years after being built by Isaac Ross II, son of Isaac Ross of the Revolutionary War.

Hello from the Bama Herrens!
